Ok, let’s not beat around the bush.

This is a blog, and I have to pay for its upkeep. You’ll find two things at work here helping me do that: Google AdSense ads and Amazon product links. They’ll be kept to a minimum, though, so as to keep page load times reasonable and not make things look too cluttered.

Whs the Amazon links on Minifrag? There are a couple reasons:

  1. Amazon has a massive inventory of netbooks, thin and lights, and accessories of all kinds
  2. They also have a gigantic collection of games
  3. They have very reasonable shipping rates
  4. Their prices are extremely competitive

So yes, I will get referral fees when someone purchases items on Amazon after clicking through certain links. But it won’t cost you anything additional and it allows me to keep the site clean, lean, and mean.
